I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE HERE

Hi! My name is Erika Himka. I have been a photographer since 2016 but officially opened the doors to EMJ Visuals in 2018 while in college.

​

I’m so thankful that what started as a fun little hobby has grown into a business I truly love and am proud to call my own. As the months turned to years, I’ve been privileged to meet SO many wonderful people, and capture so so many incredibly special moments. I’m so grateful that something originally started just for fun has become such a meaningful part of my life and the lives of so many others!

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this job that carries true into my home, it’s that sometimes the beauty in the mundane is what stays with the heart the longest. Every belly laugh is fleeting, and every moment cannot be lived in again.

I truly love what I do and cannot wait to capture many memories to come!
